Borrowing Supplies [Day 3, Early Evening]

Timeslot: Day 3, Early Evening.

With the Empire's efforts toward reinforcing their base increasing due to the confirmed Mandalorian presence in this sector of the planet there is scarce little time to take advantage of the lessened security around the bases perimeter. Orar has organized the Rebuilders into this effort with the goal of making the enemies strength their strength. Due to the Empire's military strategy for this endeavor there is a lot of extra supplies already on the ground that have not been used for their upcoming construction as of yet. With a little guile, tact, and skill the Rebuilders have the opportunity to drive off with the Empire's resources.

Having been scouting out the base for the past few days Bura has suggested a method in which each member might find a part in this dance. Three separate roles that the fighters will be organized into that with each of the others parts played right will help get hopefully at least a truckload of resources out of the compound. However, the opportunity seems ripe to be able to claim so much more. Be sure to thank the local Imperial engineers for being lazy and keeping their goods on easier to steal trucks while you're there, eh?

These roles include: Infiltrators who will enter the base and confirm the location of the shipments still on their trucks, Support who will be in position to unlock the route out of the base for each truck departing, and finally the Drivers who will be responsible for getting away from the base while under Imperial fire.

During this event Players will assume one of three roles: Infiltrator, Support, or Driver. Each Role requires at least one successful roller by the previous role. Players may make TWO rolls in this event. There are no restrictions that limit Players to one Role.

Roles:

All Threat suffered in this event become Strain suffered by the roller at a 1 to 1.

Inflitrator: Must roll either Stealth, or Deception at a Difficulty of Average with Two Setback to gain the Rebuilders access to the base. Base Success grants access for 1 Support Role to roll, and every 2 additional success' after that grant another Support role slot. Advantages transfer to Support rollers at a 1 to 1 and may be split up among rollers. Triumph grant an Upgrade to the next Support role's check and a Support role slot.

Support: Must roll either Mechanics or Skullduggery at a Difficulty of Average with Two Setback to locate and acquire supplies to steal, or to gain the crew access to a vehicle to transport the supplies out of the camp. Base Success grants access for 1 Driver to roll, and every 2 additional success' after that grant another Driver role slot. Advantages transfer to Driver rollers at a 1 to 1 and may be split up among rollers. Triumph grant an additional 10 Community Duty from the next successful Driver role.

Driver: Must roll either Piloting: Planetary or Knowledge: Education at a Difficulty of Hard to either outrun the base's security, or to follow proper protocols and gain access outside of the base perimeter. Base Success grants the Rebuilders 10 Community Duty, every 2 additional success' grant everyone who rolled in this event 5 Personal Duty. Advantages transfer to subsequent Driver rollers at a 1 to 1 and may be split up among rollers. Triumph grant an additional 10 Community Duty.

Note: To keep things mobile, 3 Inflitrators can roll in a row and create 3 support roles. Meaning that the next roller can choose to roll for support, bringing it back down to 2 available, or for Infiltrator and increase number of support roles by 1.

Denoument:

All Community Duty acquired through this event will first be used to Upgrade the enclaves Enhanced Security feature. Once this is accomplished all remaining gained Duty will be put to vote.

[Raven Cadera]

Raven wasn't the best infiltrator of the Rebuilders, but she would be pretty much useless in the other roles needed. Her natural agility was good, and her armor fit so superbly it did not make a sound with her movement.

... But when you didn't have that good experience with actual sneaking around, it was hard to actually accomplish anything.

Claymore had been a black-ops infiltrator in his time with Black Watch, and did not let his skilled diminish, but I've used his engineering mind to make a Optical Camouflage System working well. He looked around the grounds for a minute. Then sent back into the shadows.

[Lysa Ordo]

After others made an opening Lysa snuck in and found a truck load of good supplies. She then slid under the front of the vehicle and started grabbing wires "Handy, the blue one. No the BLUE one! I kriffin swear the. Blue. One. Thank you." The utility arm on her back lacked photo receptors for colors and was besides driven by her mental impulses so she was essentially arguing with herself.

In the end the truck roared to life and it was running clean, ready for a driver.

The pilot slams her foot down on the accelerator and she roars out of the compound, leaving imperial security rather confused as to what had just happened.

Borrowing and withdrawing from someone's else account wasn't something that was foreign to Soleene, having done so during her delinquent years. However, stealing from the Empire was a whole different matter entirely and the punishment was far greater than just the juvenile detention centre. She felt rusty and a bit clumsy, it was probably the armour or age. One of the A's. When she tried to stroll up casually and make her way in with some charm, she was hastily met with question and suspicion as the guards went to summon reinforcements.

Soleene need that she could press on and barge her way in but that would ultimately make it harder for the others. Ultimately, she cut her losses and left before something like this could make it on her record, or worse.

Fé grabbed onto the steering wheel with a white-knuckled grip and a manic grin. "Finally." The vehicle threw her back into the seat as she slammed into full throttle.

The vehicle careened wildly around security, avoiding some very near misses with dangerous vehicles and cargo, somehow managing to keep their liberated supplies in their places. Tearing off into the afternoon cleared away for perhaps more after her. And was fun as hell.

Lysa stuck around after she had hot wired the other truck and Fe and blasted out of there with it.

Lysa saw Fotz get a juicy looking vehicle ready and hopped into the driver seat "gotta do this one smart boys." She said as she moved to the exit.

Apparently Lysa had been brushing up on Imperial protocols because she drove nice and casual right out of the door.

[Griddak Madclaw]

Griddak, for his part, played the role of wookiee servant/laborer and just straight up carried supplies right out of the base. In the process he got into some arguments with other low level Imperial workers, but they were more stressful than problematic.

After successfully sending off one transport, Fitz trails behind Raven. As she leads him from vehicle to vehicle, he is able to get two up and running, awaiting drivers to make their clandestine runs back to the enclave. He jumps onto one of the transports he commandeered to ride back, done with his part in the redistribution of supplies. Better to have fewer Mandalorians lurking around the compound.

If there was anyone who knew about borrowing things, it was Varina. She tiptoed around the camp, even slapping a bucket off a table, seemingly at random, but actually to distract a few stormtroopers! Property damage, though, was definitely cool and not lame.

The automated defenses turn to track the returning Imperial truck, with some rather impressive weapon damage as Mayrelli hoons back into the base, jumps clean over a low wall and swerves in to the courtyard.
"Come on - come on- come on! Let's rollllllllll!"
A few more boxes are tossed aboard and the pilot mauls the accelerator as, tires spinning, the vehicles squeals out of the base again.
