[D0 morning Repair Bay] Tune Up (Open)

[Lysa Ordo]

A distant and slightly muffled music could be heard in the repair bay if one was listening closely. If they followed it they would find the shock of color against the monochrome of the repair bay.

A young mandalorian stood in front of a workbench with headphones over her ears. She stood clad in her armor plates brightly colored in neon hues of pink, yellow, and blue. Another mechanical arm came over her shoulder and passed her tools as she worked on a disassembled blaster and a vibro blade. She bounced and rocked to the bumping beats blasting in her ears some of the sound bleeding out into the bay as she worked.

Griddak approaches and greets her, under the assumption that she has a sound passthrough function on them. He asks her if she wants a hand with anything, which was apparently also a bit of humor when he reveals his cyber hand toolset. Whether she even heard it...

As far as he could tell she had heard nothing as she didn't react to his greeting at all, the music was quite loud and the headphones seemed somewhat old school. She simply kept swaying and subdued dancing as slight sparks came up from the blaster.

The thing hardly resembled the heavy blaster she had bought years ago, it was full of modifications that made the weapon just as volatile as it did deadly.

Like an old dad, Griddak laments that nobody heard his (not so) great joke. Then he moves to wave from the side to get her attention. Once he gets her to respond, he greets Lysa in a friendly manner, asks her how she has been doing, then finds out if there's anything she might need a helping hand with.

Lysa does eventually notice the other person waving and jumps a little. The utility arm points a small welder at the wookie before Lysa laughs and the arm places the tool back on the table.

"Oh hey there Fuzz!" She exclaimed excitedly "I'm doing alright shouldn't be needing any help really since I got this wicked utility arm installed in my suit its been so much easier working on things!" As usual a sort of boundless energy bubbled up in the way she talked with few breaks like one big run on sentence.

"How have you been old timer? Tear any arms off recently? Thats my favorite wookie rumor by the way that you're fond of bare handed dismemberment."

He laughs and explains that he was practicing that earlier in the gym on the training droid. Griddak then tells Lysa that it's easier to remove arms with a vibrosword, but agrees that it's less fun. He looks over the blaster she's working on and asks about the modifications she's making.

"Well of course it's easier to do with a sword that's like the point of swords!" She says giggling.

She looks down to the blaster "Oh nothing too fancy just adding a bit of punch to it. You know they make a whole lot of ways to make these little blasters shoot just as well as the clunky rifles. Kriff this baby probably has a higher output than your standard E-11. Just a small chance the thing'll blow up in your hand." She grins conspiratorially "small price to pay for handheld death dealing it you ask me."

The wookiee nods in agreement at that, though also admits that he prefers a good blade to a blaster. Even if a vibrosword runs out of power, it's still quite stabby, he explains. Then he admits that he dreams of a shoulder mounted blaster someday, so he can shoot and cut at the same time, removing the body from the arm rather than the other way around.

Visually, his own weapons have few modifications. Most of them are standard old models that have little notches and signs of battle. Though his vibrosword does have an oversized vibro-motor and battery.

He says he still hasn't finished everything he wants to do with his armor yet to focus on his weapons, having just put in strength enhancing servos, which he admits is possibly a bit of overkill for a wookiee.
