This seemed to be the place the clues were leading to. What would possess a regular guy to go out and brave these dangers... well, he was either a fool or foolhardy. Or both.
Unlike when they had gone into the town, Raven was fully geared up this time, expecting it could get challenging there.

Fé was geared up as well, Siz strapped to her to stay out of the way while they navigate uncertain footing, but ready to go as needed. "Between Veth and that mechanic, I hope we can find something."

There was one certainty they'd gathered from their little investigation into the Mechanic's shop, whatever he was seeking out here would have been something that certainly wouldn't still be here if it was simply on the surface. Now.. trying to figure out where he might have tried to make his entry is another situation entirely. Certainly the most basic of methods would be to simply look for his trail, but more inquisitive minds might be able to come up with another solution.

Garen, as always, followed along.
"The data disc mentioned something about going underwater, didn't it?" He asked, his deep voice carrying easily through his helmet.

"Yeah... anyone fancy a swim?" Her joking tone was only slightly modulated by the helmet.

Garen snorted. "And here I forgot my swimsuit." He said dryly.
After a few moments, he sighed. "Well. I suppose it has to be done, doesn't it?"

OOC - Better than Garen, but he can assist and you can borrow his survival knife for an extra boost.

"Add it some underwater mods, and we'll be Sea Mandos," she replied with audible amusement. "But yup. I'm not the best in the lead here. Raven, Garen?"
---
OOC - I can also assist. If we don't make it, sounds like there are other options, potentially, too.

"Avast, me hearties." Garen said dryly.

Unfortunately, finding the tracks would prove difficult as the surrounding water-logged region was resistent to leaving impressions that lasted for too long. Much as she might try to scan around for any trace or sign of someone's passing the trail would go cold or get muddled up by other sources of foot traffic in the area.
Could always try the age old, "just look about for signs, and hope for the best," of course.

"Do you still have that datapad?" Fé asked. "There might be some clues as to what exactly he was after if we dig into it."

Without apparently any announcement there was another person in their midst without anyone having had the opportunity to realize. Only them speaking drew attention to their presence among these ancient ruins.
"You are a curious bunch," they say with a wry grin that was not worn physically but dripped from their tone.

She nodded and reached into her backpack. "Yeah, I still got it..." her words were left hanging as she became aware of Irizka's presence, and Raven focused herself on digging out the datapad, and promptly handing it off to Fé.

Fé, to her credit, didn't jump. She wanted to, but years of combat with sudden threats had changed that quickly. Her eyes narrowed under her helmet. The creepy woman Mandalore's search for the past had brought into their midst. One of the few decisions she internally questioned - creepy people in hoods were historically bad news, in her experience.
But still, she could handle this. Be polite. Gruff was acceptable, though. She was a Mandalorian after all.
"Yes, we are at that. Disappearance of a local."

"Having trouble finding them, are we? I may be of assistance, but I would need ask you do something in turn for me while you are within this structure," they say, their voice ever holding that distance to it that feels as if they are reaching out to them from a millennia away into the past. Emotion seemed removed entirely from their presence, their tone, and all expression was too immoving.

Yup. Creepy people in hoods.
"What did you have in mind?" Fé was distinctly suspicious of their motives.

Garen, nodded. "We're listening." He said, slowly and carefully.
He wanted to give the others a significant look, but that was too hard to do in a Mandalorian helmet.

Raven nodded silently to Garen, letting the more senior members take lead in this.

"When it comes time," they say, glancing across the faces that were present. Lingering their gaze a little on each one of them in turn. "I only ask that when we find the Helm of Mandalore, and the person I imagine it yet rests upon, that you do not make any motion to stop me from claiming what I have need of from the vault within your enclave, or from the rest of these ruins. I have already come to this agreement with your Mandalore but- well, he is one to suggest that his warriors are not mindless slaves he can or will fully command. As such, I broker this agreement with each of you in turn now."
"Offer me no trouble in claiming what I must, and I will show you to where this individual you now seek is- a fair trade, as each of these tasks are hardly difficult to accomplish and pose no risk to the agreeing parties in question," they say, looking to each of them again and waiting for their confirmation.
