Originally founded as a business back on Coruscant by the proprietor Mei's parents, the Boba Hut bubbletea shop is the only enterprise of its kind here in this budding new town. Looking like a daughter variant of the larger business back home, or so Mei claims, this business holds all the warmth of the original with some darling additions close to her heart. Inside the lights create a warm glow that permeates every corner of the main space, a few booths off to each corner of the business provide some places for more private hangouts while the main floor of the place has a few round tables with only a couple of chairs to each all crafted out of a beautiful wood. Despite the tables dotting the central floor there is enough space left between them that not even the largest of her potential customers would feel crowded or uncomfortable.
Entering the building, one must first pass underneath a large wooden archway depicting intricate designs of moonflower gardens populated by an abundance of locusts of varying sizes. Each column holds large vine like designs reaching down to the floor, continuing this pattern. Once through the arch the main space opens to a visitor, off to the left wall rests the main counter. Along the counter are a sparse number of stools by the far end with an aquarium sitting opposite behind the counter itself. Inside the aquarium are a large quantity of small crawdads swimming freely alongside a single large strangely feline-shaped squid-like creature which occasionally feasts on some of the slowest of the crawdads.
Those were not the only creatures amid the establishment however, as a pair of fox-like creatures darted or napped about the main floor. Sometimes hiding underneath unoccupied booths or strutting about freely between the tables the two creatures are surprisingly friendly with the patrons and rarely steal from anyone. Though, while one of those two creatures is far more mischievous and does more often play little pranks his partner in crime is comparably more calm and regal in her demeanor, known among patrons as the Emperor and Empress respectively. Sometimes the pair will work in tandem, the regal of the two claiming the attention of a couple patrons while Emperor, the more sinister of the two, plays his devilish pranks. Notably, patrons whom make use of puns seems to be more likely to be targeted by Emperor than any other guest. Luckily, none of these pranks every amount to much harm to any guest and in the rare chance it does Mei is quick to make up for it with both apologies and compensation as best she can manage.
Adding to the oddities of these two creatures, sat on the counter-top by the register is a bronze statuette of a small dog-like creature with stumpy little legs and a fluffily covered rear end. While there aren't many children who frequent the establishment the few that do constantly seem drawn to gawking at the statue with awe in the mystery of the unfamiliar creature in solid form. A statue that Mei claims was a hard won prize after a struggle in the rare card-game she played back on Coruscant, never quite sure how she won but happy to have added the new friend to her collection of oddities. Often pointing to one of the earliest additions to her collection hanging on the back wall over the register, a set of well-crafted fencing gear she promises isn't simply for show but anyone who has a keen eye can tell it's clearly only a decorative model.
These are not the final additions to the beauty that is present within this space, there is not just the intricately carved countertops and tables but there are also many paintings of beautiful scenic views and character pieces adorning every wall. Every piece supposedly commissioned from many different artists by the same patron. Each pieces has been afforded a small plaque beside it which denotes both the artist, and the individual who commissioned it. A rare find this far out from the coreworlds certainly but one that Mei felt dear enough to ensure she was able to afford the space to bring it all along with her when she endeavored on this journey. Leaving not one precious memory behind when she took up and finally left home behind.
Leaving but one final note, one final thing to notice upon a customer deciding to take their leave for the day. By the register, facing toward a person who is looking out toward the exit and the windows that peer out onto the dusty main road of the colony is a simple hat-rack. Collected from many of the colonists and travelers who came here are an odd assortments hats that were left behind for one reason or another. Now waiting to be adopted by any of her patrons that find themselves a need for any of the hats that have been left behind. A offer which has already begun to set root a budding tradition among many of the colonists and travelers who come through her door as they leave behind their own hats and sometimes take a new one on the way out.

Re: Description
Recently a black labrador-like mutt has been seen about the premises. Slow to warm to new faces but exceedingly happy to greet regulars he is a welcome addition to the establishment. Always well behaved and if you say otherwise in earshot of the hostess you risk a harsh glare, and possibly- words. Known well for his happy prancy feet there are few hearts left unwarmed in his presence.
