In times of assault the large reinforced door can seal shut to the outside world. Inside, a security station sits to keep a constant monitor and surveillance of this post with access to the doors controls and alarm systems within all or specific halls within the bunker. In times of conflict this would be the first line of defense behind barricades and other defensive systems.

Just inside by the security station there's a small table and hangout spot so it's not entirely an uncomfortable posting.
