Healing

Critical Injuries:

When it comes to rolling in order to heal Critical Injuries any character may have their injury rolled on once per day. Multiple injuries may be rolled on in succession but should a roll fail the character must wait until the next day to be able to have it attempted again.

Finding Healers:

There may be PC's who will be able to heal you, but should you need to ask around there are likely to be at least an NPC or two near enough in association to offer a helping hand.
  • Maximum of two Medicine skill checks may be rolled per timeslot.
  • PC's gain a bonus pool of 4WT that may be split up as they see fit between successful checks made in a singular timeslot. That extra pool refreshes in the next timeslot.
  • PC's acting in this manner should focus on their RP first and health threads to help others second. I don't want player heal-bots, if I see it I'll see that the behavior stops.
Strain Recovery [:Link:]

All standard rules for Strain Recovery apply save for one addition/exception. In the past, it was customary to roll each timeslot as if finishing an encounter for Strain Recovery. Moving forward in order to reduce the amount of rolls required every timeslot spent relaxing will recover a set amount of Strain.

2 Strain will be gained per timeslot spent relaxing, this will further be modified by adding your Ranks in Cool or Discipline to the total. Timeslots spent relaxing are those in which no rolls are made.

[Example:]
Captain Irevessa has a Cool of 3, and a Discipline of 2. Seeing as her Cool is higher, we will take this number. Further, she is relaxing in the Rec Room, which doubles regained strain.

2 (Base) + 3 (Ranks in Cool) = 5 x 2 (doubled in Rec Room) = 10 Strain recovered.
